Malgrate

The town, situated in a panoramic position in front of Lecco, before the construction of Azzone Visconti bridge was connected to Lecco via the ferry.

It was in the Middle Ages a large town whose castle was destroyed during the decade-long war between Milanesi and Comaschi. Three hundred in the country is subjected to the lordships and only in the seventeenth century the country has a good prosperity.
